The Board of Trustees is very conscious that this Trust was established to recognise and honour the dedication and sacrifice made by Firefighters and other Operational Personnel, in the course of their operational duties in Local Authority or Other Fire Services. The Trust particularly sought to honour those who sadly make the ultimate sacrifice whilst serving their respective communities.
 
The Board of Trustees are also very aware and are particularly sensitive to the feelings of the next of kin and other immediate family members of those individuals named on our Memorial. The Memorial is there in memory of their loved ones who have made the ultimate sacrifice and recognise their sad loss.
 
It is the unanimous opinion of the Board of Trustees, that all those mentioned above, are deemed to be Honorary Members without further obligation. However, if any of the above particularly wish to contribute financially to the work of the Trust, they can  join as Individual Members
