It is with deep regret that the Trust has recorded the recent deaths of the following personnel
Alan Iain Bannon - Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service - 6th April 2010
James David Shears - Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service - 6th April 2010
Paul Frank Fletcher - Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service - 24th August 2009
Ewan Edward Williamson – Lothian & Borders Fire & Rescue Service – 12th July 2009
Brian Dean – West Midlands Fire Service – 3rd December 2008
Garry William Telfer - Dumfries & Galloway Fire & Rescue Service - 17th July 2007

Recent research has also identified the following names:
Graham Hughes – Greater Manchester Fire Service – March 2003
Alexander (Sandy) Drummond – Strathclyde Fire Brigade – 29th October 1978
Raymond Charles Edwards – London Fire Brigade – 10th August 1976
Frederick Mace – Seaford Fire Brigade – 28th February 1939
William Henry Jupe – Southampton Fire Brigade – 25th November 1936

The above names will be added at an appropriate bronze casting opportunity. 

The Trust continues to research other names that may qualify for inclusion.

Let us remember before God and commend to his sure keeping those who died in the service of this country and their communities by fire, flood or accident and whose names are inscribed on this memorial
